Korean Class Speech

Hey fellow KC101ers! I'm reviving this category for a brief moment to share with you a video I made recently. It's a class speech I wrote (with extensive help from my teacher I might add) back in July of this year during my brief time at 이대. This speech was supposed to be the culmination of what all we had learned. I was in the beginner class and was nominated to deliver the speech. How nice. The problem is that I'm lousy at verbal communication in any language and I'm an awful reader to boot. So, when you combine this with a sweet country boy's accent you get a recipe for pure hilarity. 안녕하세요. Hi, 현우 here again. Today I'm posting a video of myself writing 안녕하세요 in handwriting. Even after I learned to speak English to a certain level, I found myself unable to read what my friend wrote in letters or on their notebooks in handwriting very easily. ^^But then I think it's probably true for most Korean learners as well, so I'm going to try to make a few more videos like this, introducing how some of the most common expressions are written in handwriting ^_^ Please enjoy! My study regimen..

As you many or may not know, I started studying Korean in February 2007, which means I've been studying now for less than 2 years. I have also studied by myself - I haven't taken a proper class even once, nor have I even visited Korea. Usually, when people discover this, they are first amazed, then curious about my study method. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I'm amazing or anything.. But my Korean is at a comfortable level, even in situations where speaking English is not an option.
