Just curious. Is it possible that someone post a tutorial for Cyworld? I already have my Cy account but I can't navigate and use all of its functions since my vocabulary is very limited. I was able to post in my diary but I guess that's it. I don't know much about it.

I've searched the net on tutorials but I the screenshots are from 2006 and the settings have changed.

Please anyone help.

You can change the language of your hompi to English, but that only helps so much.

The main page, with all of the options for managing invitations and backgrounds and junk is quite confusing.

The key word to look for if you want to change things around is 설정. It means 'settings'.

thanks, I got that one. What I want to know is how to customize my picture folder. I really dunno how.

I have yet to get an email confirmation of acceptance from cyworld, so I tried logging in today and I got this message:

이메일과 비밀번호를 확인해 주세요

- 이메일 주소는 @아래까지 모두 입력하셔야 합니다.
- 싸이월드 메일주소로 간편하게 로그인 하세요!

There was a link underneath that said "자세히 보기" Which I thought meant more information, so I clicked it and got this page:

I think it means i need to confirm my email or something, but i'm not sure. Could someone help me figure this out?

Please make sure your E-mail address and password.

- E-mail addresses are supposed to be typed not only ID but also with whole domain after @.
- You can log-in easily with cyworld mail addresses.

Did you write all of your domain?

I couldn't get past the part where you enter your alien registration number. I have one and don't have a scanner/fax, so it's the most convenient for me as I do have an alien registration card. But after submitting the page, I get a pop-up that comes up (and then it brings me back to the same page). Here is the pop-up:

I've tried clicking both of the buttons on the pop-up, but they just bring me to the siren 24 web page and it seems to have to do something with credit?

Thank you very much for the help and for posting the tutorial up in the first place! :)

It says that your name and the alien registration number didn't match.
If you had no mistake in typing, it's probably because of a mistake by siren24.
The credit DB might be put wrong.

In that case, you need to send them a copy of your alien registration card to correct it.
You can fax it or e-mail it by the number and address above.
Or you can do it online with the link on that pop-up page.

It worked now - I thought to try to put my name in backwards and to include my middle name as well, and it went through. Thanks so much! :)

So now it brought me to a different page than the ones you posted and it's asking for: 인증번호 and phone number. That means certification number right? It allows me to enter 6 numbers, but I have no idea what it means.

고객님의 휴대폰 번호를 입력하신 후 인증번호 받기를 눌러주세요.

Those were the instructions. So, that basically is just telling me to enter the phone number and the certification number?

1. Put your cell phone number
2. Click '인증번호 받기'(get a certification number) button
3. They will send you 6 digit number immediately to your phone
4. Check the number and put it in the '인증번호' blank box
5. And go ahead!
