Here are some of my pictures of me during my trip to Seoul in July 2009. I hope they don't come out too big. ^^;;;

Actually, I took a lot more pictures but no need to fill up this post with pics. hehehe

Edit: 악!! Sorry everyone, my pictures did turn out way too big. I'll try to post later when I resize them.

Hi all,

I joined KC101 today, so I guess this is my introduction post.

I've mastered the Hangeul alphabet. That was the easy part :)

Now I'm excited to delve a little deeper into the Korean language!
I've signed up for 2 years, so I hope to learn as much as possible during that time.
And perhaps along the way make some friends amongst my fellow students.

Oh yeah, I'm the bald guy on the photo.
It was taken during my holiday in Hong Kong earlier this year.

Take care.

Hello Rico~~!!

Postby timandyou » July 6th, 2010 12:49 am

:o

Thanks!
"Very nice to meet you, Rico~~!"

Where do you live in, Rico?
Are you American? hmm...

You've mastered the Hangeul Alphabet! "Excellent!"
You would learn Korean faster and easier!

I am Tim. You might want to check Absolute Beginner Season 2! These lessons are just started and I think you would learn a lot from the new lessons. Most importantly, you might meet me throughout the lesson.

You look somewhat similar with one of my Canadian friends.
Enjoy studying Korean and feel free to ask any questions and comment.
There are many helpers around in this site.

Hope to see you often, Rico!

cheers,

Tim 8)

Hey Tim,

actually I'm dutch. From a small country called The Netherlands :)

Thanks for your suggestion.
I've downloaded all of the (absolute) beginner lessons to my iPhone via the My feed widget.
The Podcasts with text overlay works great! It's a nice way to study.

Though I have a problem opening the accompanying pdf docs on my iPhone.
I use the iBook app, but a lot of the text in the pdf becomes garbled.
I suspect it's because the character set isn't supported. Perhaps you know of a workaround?

Cya,
Richard

Hello Richard,

Postby timandyou » July 7th, 2010 1:19 am

You are from Netherland!
The beautiful country on earth!
I will visit there sometime in the future.
Thanks for listening and studying Korean throughout KoreanClass101.com.
Unfortunately, I don't know about the tech problem you just mentioned about.
But,
Let our tech team know about your problem. They might know what to do.

Leave your message there.
I think they would know the answer for that.

Richard, when you have any question about Korean, please feel free to ask here.
And, if you like or lilked the lesson, please comment on it.
That would encourage other students to become fellow Korean students, which means you can make many friends wanting to learn Korean from all over the world.

Furthermore, it will give me power and strength to work harder.
Most importantly, I want to be your friend - a good friend.
Thanks Richard,
cheers,

Tim 8)
