How to say this in Korean?

Postby emmarose » April 19th, 2016 11:36 pm

"I got you a bracelet, I hope you like it." I'm confused, not really sure how to translate this. I am writing a letter and sending a bracelet to an older person that I don't know too well, so I think I need to use formal language.

Hi emmarose,

Thanks for posting. If you are sending the bracelet as a gift to an older acquaintance, you would probably write:

'선물로 팔찌를 샀어요. 마음에 드셨으면 좋겠어요.' (I got you a bracelet as a gift. I hope you like it)
(seonmulro paljjireul sasseoyo. maeume deusyeosseumyeon joketseoyo.)

Please let us know if you have any other inquiries.
Best,
Lyn
