양념통닭[Yangnyeomtongdak]
Chicken seaseoned with sweet and hot sauce.

If Korean is out of Korea, we miss many things in Korea.
one of the best I miss is 양념통닭.

MISS this chicken. :D
with BEER? :?:

I can get that all over LA :P :P :P

Almost every food goes better with beer.

Oh there was this one little fried chicken and beer place in Busan -- the best fried chicken I have had anywhere! Even now I would make a trip to Korea just to eat there again.

:D To be honest, I missed it so much the other night and I looked for pic. :D

It looks so yummy, doesn't it?
My family used to order "한마리" twice a week when I was a high school student.
Sometimes we ordered "두마리" of "통닭".
You know we have kind of good delivery service. even at night.

In your place, do they deliver it,too? :?:

There might be some Korean catering services here that will deliver, but only large orders, like a wedding or something. We usually just order it "to-go."

suddenly, my memory comes up. :D

It's kind of funny.
when we talk about 통닭, we say "who's gonna eat "다리" and "날개".
In my family, my daddy has "다리" and my mom has "날개".
Sometimes, that shows the most powerful person in a family. *^^*

하하하
there is a rumor that you will sing a song well if you eat "목".

Isn't it funny?

wow.. the 통닭 photo looks really delicious. I have yet to try it.

haha.. my family members also talk about which parts to eat when we order a bucket of 'KFC'. Usually we let the child members have the 다리/ drumstick, my dad love wings ㅋㅋ. As a child we used to fight for drumstick among sibling members and most avoid the breast part. But I don't mind them now as they are considered 'healthier' xD

haha! I can see your love for your kids.

My family members avoid the breast part, too.
My mom used to cook the breast part again for our lunch box whenever we left them.
