:D Korean love to see the sunrise.
Whenever we feel tired of work or something, we say "Let's go to "동해".
We see "해돋이" and refresh ouselves. And then come back to life, again. *^^*

Julia,

I love that you post inspirational stuff. Somehow your photo started the Korean National Anthem playing in my head... and now I am listening to it on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WD65WZ9-KgQ stay tuned to the end -- the imagery is awesome.

And there's a photo in the video much like the one you posted.

 "애국가"[aegukga]를 들으셨군요! 하하.

해돋이는 "시작"을 의미하지요.
한 5년 전에 제가 동해에 갔을 때 찍은 사진이랍니다. lol :D
