contemporary art scene...recommendations?

Postby harumi » December 10th, 2008 3:23 am

Hello!! I am really interested in the contemporary art scene in Korea. How is it?

One of my favorite artists is from Korea. He is Do-Ho Suh, 서도호. Although from Korea, he does most of his work in New York now. Have any of you seen his work in person before? I haven`t, but I would love to.

What are the amazing art museums in Korea for contemporary art?

Also, is this place still here? I couldn`t find much current info about it.

Aloha for now!

Wow :) Nice pieces of art! I haven't seen his work in person either. ^^

And the papertainer museum website says that they don't display anymore ^^

I also love his work. If you haven't seen the sculptures of Choi Xoo Ang, please seek out his work online. Make certain to read about his motivation, so you can get the full impact of his work.
