White Day

Postby dewnyc » March 13th, 2008 2:37 am

This is my first time learning about this particular holiday, which is coming up.
Are there any particular greetings that are popular or common for this occasion?
For those of you who have someone to celebrate it with, may this day be most wonderful for you! :D

Well, ^^ sorry that I'm replying after the day has passed by ;-)

There isn't any particular greeting on this day ... just giving and taking chocolates or candies. :D

White day is kind of a funny day... it was invented by a candy manufacturer much like Valentines Day was invented by Hallmark.

It is fun to be in Korea on white day, if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend. And all the candies and stuff that are set up for sale are kind of nice to look at. Seems festive.

Other than that, I'd say White day is not a very important holiday in Korea....
