As I may make it over to Korea in time for Chuseok this year, I was wondering what actually happens? Are there any public events or festivities, or is it all about family?
What nice thing(s) should I do for/with my parents-in-law?
Chuseok is the Korean Thanksgiving Day. Family members travel to their home towns to maintain the family gravesites and pay thanksgiving to their ancestors. It is a time for the families to get together and play games and eat special foods.
