Are the school bags in your countries the same as these?

Or how are they different?

I was around 3 pm when I took this photo and these kids were running around and chasing one another like crazy in front of me and then suddenly calmed down to wait for the light to change. kkk They were unbelievably noisy, but still very cute too.

책가방(chaek ga bang) = school bag

책(chaek) = book
가방(gabang) = bag

These bags are fairly popular with the lower grade school children. Who doesn't like Winnie the Pooh or Spiderman? They are cool. What I like are the lunchboxes (도시락), with the seperate containers for rice and 반찬 and main dish. Very cool.
