Newbie chiming in.... I'm new to both KC101.com AND Skype. I'm nenuphar_ , don't hesitate to give me a shout, even though I don't know much Korean yet.
On Skype, I'm nenuphar_ (just like that with the underline character ending)

안녕해세요! I've been in 서을 for 5 months now, and my Korean is still horrible! Help me, please!!! My Skype name is: CofCNan06. Feel free to add me! (Just say that you saw it here on KoreanClass101... I sometimes get random one from creepy people!)

I know most of us live in totally different time regions, but I think it could be a fun idea to arrange a korean class 101 weekly skype chat or something  What does everyone think?

Some users have kicked around this idea for a while...but you're right, the time zone issues do cause some headaches! Ultimately it will just take someone to take some initiative and plan it. So, you set the date and time, and I'll see if I can join you!

I work 6 days a week so it'd be hard to me to show up any time other than Saturday night or Sunday. What do the other Seoulites think? A Saturday or Sunday evening?

OK..

Saturday Night at 10 in Seoul is Saturday morning at 9 in NYC or, of course fast forward for any other time. The time difference is even more inconvenient for anyone on the west coast! As far as I'm concerned....night time in Seoul is best for me

Haha. I guess we could have our own little Seoul (hey to be fair, Korea or Japan in general lol) chat and let the people in other time zones try and figure something out.

Unless people are working really early the next day, a chat around midnight Seoul time might be convenient for people back in NA since it's not too early in the morning. Barring any unexpected 회식, indies punk concerts in 홍대 I really wanna see, or 미녀들의수다 (   )...I'm available every night after 11.

Austin and I were talking about this for a while but I forgot to post about it, sorry!

We thought it'd be a good idea to have a weekly koreanclass 101 chat. So! Let's aim for a skype chat meeting this upcoming Saturday at 10 pm Seoul time (around 9 or 11 in the morning for you North America people) Who's in? :D

just add me, or whatever :P ID: Enkiae

Hi everyone,
I am a sort of newbie here, I am going to Seoul in July so I thought it would be a good idea to learn Korean

If anyone wants to add me to their Skype my name is pucca246

I am in the UK so 8hrs behind Korea and 4hrs in front of New York, I am online most days, trying to learn Korean, but usually getting side tracked by all the different sites :? - so it would be a big help if any of you can chat with me :D
