Thanks again for checking my answers! It's all starting to make sense! I'm remembering more words, but still need to look up the spelling. This whole lesson took me an hour and a half...see, I forgot how to say that in Korean! Had to look it up, lesson 9: 1시30분시간 정도 걸려.Is that correct? Except, now it took me 2 hours! Time well spent. WOW~~! Your Korean is so good!
오전 or 아침, both are fine to use.

about your question, "1시30분시간 정도 걸려."
in English, it means "it took me for 1 hour and 30 minutes."

if you say, "1시 30분", it means "one thirty - 1:30".
The sentence is about "for how long"
for "1 hour and 30 minutes" = 1시간 30분 (정도)
Therefore, the correct expression would be, "1시간 30분 정도 걸려."
You made "almost" right. cheers,
Tim
