안녕하세요! Ahh :) the 'and' haha this is one I'd like to talk about since I missed used it on my first post here haha

3 너와 나
4 당신과 저
5 그와 그녀

C3.그와 나가 (or 나는) 커피를 좋아합니다. (my particles may have got me here again so I'll start with one)

Question: In my Korean book they use -하고 as 'and' too. Or in some cases 'with'

"그럼 과일하고 오징어 주세요."
So fruit and squid please.

Have you heard this used before?

감사합니다

Hello Dustin,

안녕하세요 더스틴,

3 너와 나
4 당신과 저
5 그와 그녀

You wrote,

그와 나는 or
그와 내가

Question: In my Korean book they use -하고 as 'and' too. Or in some cases 'with'

"그럼 과일하고 오징어 주세요."
So fruit and squid please.
Yes, you can also say, "과일과 오징어 주세요".
A(noun) "and" B(noun) = A와/과 B, A하고 B, A(이)랑 B.

also -하고 is also used as "with" as you just mentioned above.
"I eat a meal with Dustin" 더스틴하고 "with Dustin" + 밥을 "a meal" + 먹는다 "eat" = 더스틴하고 밥을 먹는다.

Of course, I've heard about -하고 used as "and" and "with".
"you and I" 너와 나 / 너하고 나하고 / 너랑 나랑.
"I watch a movie with you" 너와 함께/너하고 "with you" + 영화를 "a movie" + 본다 "to watch" = 너하고/너와 함께 영화를 본다.
cheers,

팀은 감사합니다!

So these all can be used A + B style

농구와 수영이 학교에 있습니다.
농구하고 수영은 학교에 있습니다.
농구랑 수영이 학교에 있습니다.

There is basketball and swimming at the school.

possible clarification for A(이)랑B Does this mean they are consonant/vowel based? Or possibly another grammar point?

야구랑 수영...
온동이 음식...

Are all of these interchangeable? Or would you use each one in a certain situation?
Sorry if I turned this lesson into something a little more complicated :p
I appreciate the time you spend replying to questions

감사합니다
다스틴

:P :P :P 하하~~
you wrote, 종국 "China" 하하~~!
It can be common mistakes for foreigners but...
Here is the reason.

"종국" is a name of one of famous K-singers. 하하~~ (some people call him, "김국종" for fun).
anyway... "China" is 중국 (NOT 종국).
Other than that, everything looks GREAT!
I can see that your Korean has been improving and you are having so much fun learning Korean.
GREAT!!! "Go Go Dustin~~~!"
cheers,
