Idea for Random korean practice

Postby usakorjb03 » March 27th, 2008 8:40 pm

you know i was thinking, as i was walking around my kitchen last night reciting everything in there that i knew in korean, i figured it be good idea to do the same no matter where u are. Lets say you are walking around your town, as a car drives by, point and say 차 or u pass by a house say 집. you get the idea. This is what I was doing in the kitchen yesterday. I think it’s better than just sitting around with a Pencil and a Notebook trying to memorize the words.

That sounds funny, but in public then people might stare at you, but I like the attention, I am just not too sure about others.

I do that anyway, I even translate everything I say and what is said to me into Korean, I think that is OCD, though.

You can do it in your head. You don't have to point and utter foreign words in public by yourself  . Just sayin'. But whatever works. If I saw a foreigner pointing and naming objects on the road in my native tongue I would laugh. Hard, on the inside, of course.
