Hi Onji,

Sounds like you are doing something very very similar to what we were discussing on this thread. How far along are you along your studies? I envy that you can just turn on your tv and have native material.

I have a new little tip that I have been using with the SRS. I don't think it is anything mindblowing or anything, but thought I would share it.

If I am watching a tv show on youtube and a word or phrase flashes on screen, as they often do, I will do a screenshot. With a mac computer you can actually select what part of the screen you take a shot of. Sometimes I will include a bit of the picture from the show as well as the text as a stronger memory anchor. If I am watching something subbed I will get the translation from the text there, if I am watching something unsubbed I will just go to 네이버 사전 and look it up and maybe get an example sentence. Ideally, if i can just take the screen shot and get the translation from the video, I am really happy as it makes a very easy srs card.

Mm the screenshot thing I will use, especially if I am streaming something I own a mac so it is is pretty easy to do. The thing is when living in Korea, there is so much material that you can just buy that I really don't need to stream anything. Right Now I have just been watching a lot of disney movies dubbed in korean with Korean subtitles. Just pause the movie and then translate. I have only been studying for about six months and my biggest issue currently with Korean is the sentence mining.
I honestly hate doing it and it is very very time consuming I prefer just enjoying whatever I am doing at the time. A necessary evil I guess. :)

One option would be to watch the DVDs on your mac. Another thing is - you could limit your sentence mining to once every 30 mins or something like that, so it doesn't become too arduous.

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but the zip download at divshare.com that includes the audio files seems to now longer work. I tried to click download (multiple times), and nothing happens. This deck seems like a very good one, since it has the hanja roots, which is just what I was looking for, but I have no access to the audio files.

This might be a shot in the dark, but if someone has the audio files or the zip, could you upload it to another site, or share it in some other way?

Alternatively, if someone can point me to another deck / flashcards program of some sort that includes words with their hanja origin, that would be great as well.

Thank you.

Hi, I'm new to this site and was looking for some decks to complement my study. I wanted to add this deck as a study material but, like the previous post, I found myself unable to download the deck from the link posted in the beginning. Will someone kindly give me the link as well?

Thank you so much for your time. :)
