For foreign learners of English, there are special dictionaries available which use only simple vocabulary for the definitions. The one I've seen uses only uses 3000 of the most common english words in the provided definitions.
I started wondering if there was anything similar for Korean learners. I did a quick search on Kyobo for Korean dictionaries for primary school students, and there are a few there, but I was wondering what the vocabulary level of these is. At least one was targeted at 5 to 14 year olds, which seems a bit broad.
Any recommendations for a good Korean language only dictionary for a learner? Is there anything specific, and if not, which of the dictionaries targetted at Korean students might be most suitable?
