Please help?

Postby goldenzephyr » April 16th, 2011 6:48 pm

I am set to graduate University in about 1 month. I would love to invite my Korean professor, since she helped me a lot and has been so very supportive. I am not sure how to go about it though? I guess in essence I would like help translating:

I would like to thank you very much for all your help with my Korean language, as well as your support and your belief in me. Without your help I would not have been able to travel to Korea last summer, nor would I have been accepted into graduate school.

I would also like to invite you to my graduation, May 8th at 1pm and the small gathering afterwards (location to be announced later)

Or if anyone has any ideas of anything better to say they'd be appreciated. She's an awesome professor and has class parties at her house at the end of each semester. I'm going to miss her a lot.

Hello goldenzephyr,

Hello goldenzephyr,
This is Tim from KC101.com.
Have you ever listened to my lessons?
I hope you do... because I am about to do your favor...
okay...

"I'd like to thank you very much for all your help with my Korean Language"

"as well as your support and your belief in me"

"without your help I would not have been able to travel to Korea last summer"

"nor would I have been accepted into graduate school"

"I'd also like to invite you to my graduation, May 8th at 1pm"

"and the small gathering afterwards (location to be announced later)"

Okay, that's all~~
Remember everybody is busy... you are asking for someone's knowledge, time and effort...
Sometimes... you have to be patient for that, right?
cheers,
Tim 8)

cheers,
