그땐 (그때는} - at that time 그때 -that time +는 -at/during = at that time, also "back then"

그땐 몰랐어요 - I didn't know back then. At that time I didn't know.

그땐 좋아하지 않았어요 - At that time I didn't like it/her/him. I didn't like it/her/him back then.

그땐 한국말을 알아들을 수가 없었어요. I couldn't understand Korean back then.

You may also hear it placed last in a sentence with no change in meaning; not proper grammar but a common speech habit:

한국말을 알아들을 수 없었어요 --그땐

Hello sunny003,
Thanks for leaving the question here in our Forum!
I really think that George's explanation is very good!

그때 => 그때는 => 그땐

Yes, 그땐 is often used with past tense. (NOT always!)
cheers,
Tim 8)

Thank you, George, for the quick response.
:P

Have you tried to install "IME Korean"?
Google for "IME Korean" and find the proper software, then you install it...
I hope it will work on your computer...
