~ 했(done) 나봐 = ~something done~ 'looks like' 'seems like' 'appears that'
~ 있(is) 나봐 = ~is~ 'looks like' 'seems like' 'appears that'

그 말을 괜히 했나봐. =Seems/looks like I/he/she said that for nothing/ It appears that those words were spoken in vain.

그 말을 괜히 했나봐.
그 말을 괜히 했나봐요.
그 말을 괜히 했나보다 .
그 말을 괜히 했나봅니다.

I am troubled because in the complete sentence, it's weird.
here the whole sentence :
언제나 우린 좋았는데 그 말을 괜히 했나봐

I tend to translate it by this :
we were always alright but theses words were spoken in vain
or
everything went constantly well for us but theses words were spoken in vain

whatever the translation it makes no sense for me.
what do you think ?

I think to understand the meaning correctly we need to hear more of the context, the sentence or paragraph before and after, or a description of the situation. In this case there could be several subtle meanings but what stands out in my mind is something like "Maybe I shouldn't have said that since we were always fine anyway." It sounds like there was some kind of advice or warning and the speaker seems to speak in retrospect of himself in regard to that advice as having been unnecessary.

Here the context i tried to translate a song and it harder I thought  but i want to sucess

here my translation with my level

Maybe I shouldn't have said theses words since we were always fine
I managed to endure it well so far, I have well supported
Whenever you call me "my friend" and you were here to lean on me

what do you think about it?
I can find a translation for the last sentence, I do not know where to start this sentence

You always call me "friend" and lean on me though
It seems the words that you love me always make me feel uncomfortable. Yes, it seems so.
