HI, I'm George, a fellow student, I just wanted to welcome you.

Of course the best place to start is to learn Hangul - the Korean writing system.

I hope you will make many wonderful friends while studying here and become proficient at this beautiful yet difficult language.

Trutherous is right, learn hangul first. You wont regret it.

I learnt hangul using the sogang website 4 or 5 years ago. ( hope its ok to post)

After that its just a matter of finding korean resources that interest you and challenges you.

Welcome to KoreanClass101.com!! crushh11 님[nim]
I'm Julia, a Korean team member.
You already have full knowledge of Korean culture from Korean Show and film.
That is GOOD when you start to learn Korean.
Let's start from 한글[Hangul] like trutherous said.
Everyone here will help you!! :wink:

<Just now I was trying to find trutherous's 한글. but I couldn't find it.>
조지 님! ㄱ,ㄴ,ㄷ... 어디있지요?? :roll:
you know what I'm saying...? ㄱ,ㄴ,ㄷ

Here is a start on the consonants. This is a little thing I did for fun to help native English speakers remember the Korean consonant sounds.
