question about a certain phrase

that phrase would be "겁 먹었다"
does that mean stricken with fear? or to contain/conquer your fear? thanks in advance.

I think the first one would be right.

겁 먹다 means "get feared" I guess.

so if i say " 나 완전 겁먹었어" it means i'm very scared of something right?
