Tokyo...

Postby Chris1 » April 17th, 2009 3:28 am

I'm trying to see if anyone here has any extensive knowledge on Tokyo. I will be in Tokyo for five days somewhat soon, and I really have no idea what I'm going to do. Any suggestions on things to do, food to eat, or places to stay would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I would recommend Tsukiji Fish Market - it's pretty neat watching the tuna auction early in the morning and seeing all the hustle and bustle of the marketplace. Also a great place to have a nice little breakfast - the fish can't get any fresher. :)

Thanks for both of your replies. My reasons for being in Japan are complicated as I do have to go and I will have roughly 5 days of free time with virtually not much of an idea of what to do. I guess I should have ventured over to the JP101 forums and posted there, but I was mainly looking for anyone with a Korean perspective or Koreans that have been to Tokyo for some interesting things to visit.

If you're interested in practicing your Korean in Tokyo, you could try visiting the "Koreatown" there :)
