Foreigners attending Kpop Concerts

Postby linnn » March 26th, 2009 11:15 pm

Hi,

I'd be in Seoul for a few months and would like to know how can foreigners buy tickets to Kpop Concerts .. ie. Sparkling 2009 held at Olympic Park Stadium on 11/12 April?

I've actually asked my Korean friend to help me buy them on Gmarket, buy unfortunately there seems to be a clause that says only natives can buy tickets from gmarket?

This is pretty bad news to me.. anyone here has any idea how foreigners can get tickets? :)

I have had friends buy the tickets online for me, with their ids, and then they print out a page with a confirmation number and you take that to the ticket counter and they give you the tickets. I haven't had any problems getting my tickets even though the name on the sheet didn't match my name. However I have only used interpark to do that so I don't know how gmarket works. There also should be a number you can call to buy tickets over the phone.
