| In this sentence, |
| 저는 (jeoneun) means "as for me." The topic marker 는 attaches to 저 ("I"), marking the speaker. |
| 남주인공이 means "the male lead." The subject marker 이 attaches to 남주인공 ("male lead"). |
| 참 means "really" or "truly," used here for emphasis. |
| 잘생겼다고 comes from the adjective 잘생기다 ("to be handsome"). Since it's an adjective, we use the -다고 form. So 잘생겼다고 means "that [he] was handsome." |
| Then we have 생각했어요, which means "I thought." |
| So, altogether, 저는 남주인공이 참 잘생겼다고 생각했어요 means, |

| Here, 기차가 벌써 떠났다고 is the speaker’s thought. 기차 ("the train") is marked by the subject particle 가, and 벌써 떠났다 means "already left." 떠났다고 comes from the past tense verb 떠났다 ("left"), and since the verb is in the past tense, we drop the 다 and add -다고 to the verb stem 떠났. |
| Then we have 생각해요, which means "I think." |
| So that is how 기차가 벌써 떠났다고 생각해요 fits the pattern: |
