A. Key Vocabulary
Please translate the following vocabulary into Korean.
Example - 1. "a bit/a little" : hint (jo-geum/jom)
조(jo) + 금(geum) = 조금(jo-geum) or 좀(jom)

2. "more": hint (deo)

3. "a bit more/a little more" : hint (jo-geum-deo)

4. "a little bit more" : hint (jo-geum-man deo)

5. "be expensive" : hint (bi-ssa-da)

6. "Mrs/Miss/ma'am/an auntie" : hint (a-jum-ma)

7. "to discount" : hint (kkak-da)

8. "please take off the price..." : hint (kkak-a-juseyo)

9. "How much is it?" : hint (eol-ma-ye-yo?)


B. Lesson Focus
The focus of this lesson is to learn How to Beat Down the Price of Korean Goods by Saying 좀 깎아주세요 (Jom Kkak-A-Juseyo), Which Means "Beat Down The Price A Little."


Formation: 조금만 (jo-geum-man)/좀 (jom), meaning "a little"/"a bit," + 더 (deo), meaning "more," + 깎아주세요 (kkak-a-juseyo), meaning "take off the price please..."

Example - 1. "Ma'am, come down a little more, please..." : hint (A-jum-ma, kkak-a-juseyo...)
아(a)+줌(jum)+마(ma), 깍(kkak)+아(a)+주(ju)+세(se)+요(yo) = 아줌마, 깍아주세요...

2. "It's too expensive." : hint (neo-mu bi-ssa-da)

3. "Please take off the price a little..." : hint (jo-geum-man kkak-a-juseyo...)

4. "It's too expensive...please take off the price a little bit..." : hint (Neo-mu bi-ssa-yo... jo-geum-man kkak-a-juseyo...)

5. "a little bit more" : hint (jo-geum-man-deo)

6. "Take off the price a little bit more..." : hint (Jo-geum-man/Jom deo kkak-a-juseyo...)


C. Test yourself
Please translate the following into Korean.
Example - 1. "Ma'am, how much is this clothing?" : hint (a-jum-ma, i ot eol-mayeyo?)
아(a)+줌(jum)+마(ma), 이(i) 옷(ot) 얼마에요(eol-mayeyo)? = 아줌마, 이 옷 얼마에요?


2. "Ma'am, it's too expensive! Take off the price a little bit." : hint (A-jum-ma, neo-mu bi-ssa-yo! Jo-geum-man kkak-a-juseyo...)

3. "Please beat down the price a little bit more...." : hint (Jo-geum-man deo kkak-a-juseyo...)

4. "Here is thirty-five thousand won." : hint (Yeo-gi sam-man o-cheon won it-seumnida)
