What do you guys think of the Pimsleur series? I was thinking that is where the "leave pauses so we can respond" idea may have come from. I have it for Japanese but end up listening to the jpods more than anything. They are certainly more entertaining.

The Pimsleur series for Korean is honorific and "old school" my tutor corrected me several times because of that. I have two different Pims though and they are by different actors and use a different "dialect"? I did prefer one over the other but what do I know? lol...

I really liked the 30 minute lessons and the constant review to get you to pull it from memory. I guess thats my opinion.

That's what I liked about the Japanese version: the constant repetition of vocabulary from lesson to lesson. I also liked the pause; it made it more interactive whereas with the jpod lessons if I need time to repeat I have to physically pause the lesson. But I much prefer teh Japanesepod101 lessons to anything else I have heard :) . Kclass has some big shoes to fill.
