100 Most Common Korean Words!

Postby Twinbroz » August 25th, 2009 5:30 am

Hey all, I dead serious about learning Korean, I studied so hard on learning to read/write Korean that I'm a bit fluent in the writing system, and easily writing it.

Could anyone here with experience make a chart or post a list of the most common words that you would hear in common Korean conversation, like he, and, is, for on, are, etc

Thanks in advance!!!

Korean conversation words?

Well, I can't help you out for a "top 100" list but if you're a beginner I'd recommend a book titled Speaking Korean for Beginners, published by Hollym, to learn widely used words for Korean conversation--and it also comes with an audio CD. I would also recommend 2000 Essential Korean Words for Beginners, published by Darakwon and Survival Korean Vocabulary, published by Nexus; both of these books also come with audio CDs. All of the books I've mentioned are available from Hanbooks.com (located in LA).
Good luck in your studies!

Also, follow KoreanClass101 on twitter. Their mini lessons would be right up your alley if you want to expand your basic vocabulary.
