so I wonder how the adjectives are used in Korean. I researched a little and guessed the rest with my knowledge of Japanese. Please correct me if I am wrong.
사람은 높입니다.
The person is tall.
아이는 착입니다.
The baby is little/small.
Should 는/은 be used in these contexts?
Here, I assume from Japanese (destribed person/object + topic particle + adjective + copula) in Korean the copula is 입니다, the formal high from 이다.
However, is not it so, that the copular is directly added to the adjective, thus the adjective is almost a verb?
I have seen the copula, when added right after an adjective, being cut to only to ㅂ니다[ㅁ니다], that is "I" is removed.
If the adjective again describes something eg. tall man, suddenly the topic particle appears.
키가큰 남성 입니다.
It is a tall man.
크기큰 게 입니다.
It is a big dog.
Does Korean have as in Japanese, that animals and humans have their own "to be/to exist" and unanimated and "dead" objects their own?
