safe travels!

Postby iDoof » October 22nd, 2011 8:36 pm

Hi all,

Someone I know who is a Korean professor is leaving to go back to Korea (just for a few weeks). What is a good way to say "safe travels"? Is 조심히가세요 the best, or is there a more eloquent way to say that?

And also, "hope to see you again when you return" (or something like that...doesnt have to be exact).

Thanks!! You all never disappoint.

Hi iDoof :-)
I think your answer is the best.
However, the phrase is grammatically right though, Korean people prefer to say "조심해서 가세요" more.

It would be
"돌아오시면 또 뵙겠습니다"
"다시 오실때 뵙겠습니다"
etc...

Hope this helps.
