Simple Question.

난 집에 가자마자 샤워부터 해야겠다!

What is the function of 부터 in this sentence? Thanks!

I have a second question as well.

In lower intermediate lesson 17 grammar notes it states that 감 comes from the chinese character 感 So I am wondering how it is used.

영화가 좀 너무 단순한 감이 있어. [단순하다]
(yeonghwa-ga jom neomu dansunhan gam-i isseo)
- This movie is somewhat too simple.

In this example sentence could it be written like this

영화가 좀 너무 단순한 感이 있어 or is it inappropriate to use the 한자 there?

부터 means "at first, first of all"

샤워부터 해야겠어.
I'd take a shower first of all.

감 is 'feeling' or 'intuition'.
So the sentence above really means,
"I have a feeling that this movie is somewhat too simple."

You can use like that.
But no one else writes that way nowaday.

Manyakumi,

Thanks again! You are one of the people who always seem to be helping me. Thanks :D

I don't want to necessarily write 感 but just be able to recognise it if I ever see it written.
