"I want..."

I know that you can say "want to (verb)" by saying "verb stem + 고 싶다" but is there any way to say "I want (noun)." ???

How do you just say "I want (noun)." ???

Is there even a way to say that?

I'm just an amature at Korean but I believe the oder would be:
(I) noun want

갖고/가지고 싶다 - want to have/possess

iPod를 가지고 싶습니다 - I want to have an iPod.


원하다 -crave/desire

물을 원합니다 - I want water.

커피 대신에 물을 원합니다 - I want water instead of coffee.
