okay so, here's the thing, i know how to write and read in hangeul... i can romanize them as well so i'm pretty sure 종훈 is romanized as Jonghun or Jonghoon.. but the thing is someone keeps on existing that it's Jonghyun... is Jonghyun also an accepted romanization of 종훈???

Jonghyun would be written as 종현 :)

어 is sometimes romanizied as 'u' and sometimes as 'eo'

so it might as well be Jonghyeon too :)

i'm reading a PDF lesson about ㄴ가요. it says that it has the basic same meaning as 나요 i was wondering, do korean people use both equally often depending on the conversation or do most koreans just stick with '나요'?
제 이름은 문신이에요.

-ㄴ가요 is generally used with descriptive verbs and 이다,
(ex: 예쁘다 / 비싸다 / ~이다)
and
-나요 is generally used with action verbs :)
(ex) 가다 / 오다 / 보다)
