Asking if someone needs/wants something

Postby lelievre1 » January 28th, 2009 10:33 am

One of my friend's relatives is in the hospital and I've been visiting lately. I want to ask if she needs anything. How can I say this? Not sure if wan-ah-da is correct to use. I also don't want to ask about certain objects, just a blanket statement on if she needs or wants anything. Thanks.

Great first post and great question! But, I am sorry to hear about your friend's relative. I hope she has a speedy recovery.

뭐 필요 한 거 있어요?
do you need anything?

기분 좀 나아 졌어요?
are you feeling better?

오늘 컨디션어때요?
how are you feeling today?

점점 좋아지고 있어요.
(possible reply) it's getting better

Hope this helps!
