Possible error?

Postby xuawoi_232984 » September 25th, 2017 9:41 pm

Hallo.

I started just today korean classes and maybe I found an error:

In "Korean Core 200 Word List" "child" is spelled "자식" next to the image and "아이" in the examples.

I guess "자식" is not right, is it?

Regards.

Thanks for posting! Both 자식 and 아이 mean 'child', but the former refers to 'one's own child', and the latter is 'child' in general. So both words actually do mean 'child', just remember that if you are referring to anther person's child you would use 아이.

Sincerely,
Lyn
