Newbie here

Annyeonghaseyo! Jeo-neun Laurie-imnida. Ok, that's as far as I've gotten in my lessons!
I am dating a Korean, so I thought I would surprise him by learning a bit of the language. I've been here about a week, and I'm waiting for my student loan to come through to sign up for subscription here. Enjoying the lessons and friendly community here. I am looking forward to watching it grow! And I am becoming attached to Keith and Seol in the podcasts, like they are my brother and sister!
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello!

To make sure you are never in a situation where you need to mime "where is the bathroom", go to SurvivalPhrases.com. At the moment you can learn "where is the bathroom" in Korean (of course), Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Spanish.

There is a real lack of high quality Korean learning resources, ㅠ.ㅠ
But this site really fills in the gaps nicely. It's the first place I've found with an active user community and staff that is highly invested in supporting learners.
