Starcraft Competitions

Postby Alexis » October 26th, 2009 10:22 am

안녕하세요 여러분! 스타크라프트를 놀 해요?

My husband and I are planning on going to Korea at the start of August next year! :D Robert is a Starcraft fan and, I think he'd like to go to one of those competitions where you watch a couple of professionals play. Does anyone know how to go to one of these? Do you need to book tickets? When are they on? Is there a website I can go to? Has anyone been to one of these before? Any info would be good. I know nothing about this! LOL.

I'm not sure about actually getting there, but you can watch competitions pretty much all day on MBC Game and another channel that's more dedicated to Starcraft but I can't remember the name of it. On Skylife cable, it's the channel right below MBC Game.

P.S. It's 놀아요?
The root word is 놀다 so it's not in the 하다 form. For example, slow can be 천천하다 or 느리다. Saying it in a sentence would give you either 천천해 or 느려.

Someone at Team Liquid wrote up a guide on how to watch live Starcraft: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=80483. Of course there will be no season 4 of the GomTV Classic, so you can ignore that part.

kevinmiller: Yeah, sorry. I know that conjugation. It was just a mistake.

Thanks heaps, javiskefka! That might come in handy for him. LOL.

You'll be there just in time for Star Craft 2!
