Hi Sara,

Thank you for posting. In Korean, there is one word to describe purple (or similar colors), which is ๋ณด๋ผ์ƒ‰.

Hi KC,

Thanks for posting. '์˜' is a possessive particle, and is used to state that it belongs to something. It is also a particle that is often omitted in spoken speech. It was written there to show you how it can be used when you are describing something of a certain color. Example:

Purple pants. ๋ณด๋ผ์ƒ‰(์˜) ๋ฐ”์ง€.

Hope this helped!

Cheers,

Lyn

Why is ์˜ added to the end of some of the colors? I haven't seen this in other programs.

Hi.

Is the pronunciation for the color violet correct?

It does not sound like the letters written.

Thank you. Now I will better understand the dialog in the mini-drama "Color Rush."

How do you say...

Burgundy?

Crimson?

Charcoal grey?

Emerald?

Fuchsia?

Magenta?

Thank you, again!

Hi Ian,

Thanks for posting. One way to say 'pink hair' would be ๋ถ„ํ™(์ƒ‰) ๋จธ๋ฆฌ.

Hi Denisse,

Thanks for posting.

These are all adjectives and mean:

์–ด๋‘์šด dark

๋ฐ์€ bright

์˜…์€ light(think shallow, or dim)

You would use it before a noun, or color, to describe the noun/color.

Best,

Lyn
