just my two cents but the question is, literally, "until what time you are open?" but in english this would mean to ask what time you close (asking until what time you open in english feels weird, and until when will stay open feels like you waiting for the store to close forever lol). so yeah, ์—ด๋‹ค means open not close, but the question meaning in english is that!

my native language is portuguese and we can both ask what time u close or until what time do you remain open, but we usually ask "until what time u open" (vai ate que horas), that is why i can grasp the logic I think.
