HideWhich one of this lesson's traditional activities would you like to watch when you go to South Korea?
Hi Ian,
Yes, '트로트' was originally a genre that was popular with the older generation, but nowadays there are many younger 'trot' singers (I believe Super Junior had a unit group once that sang a trot song...was it Super Junior T? They had a hit called '로꾸거') and they are popular with the younger generation as well.
Cheers,
Lyn

There's another form of Korean music called 'Trot'. I like this genre as its sounds really interesting. ?
Hi Ian,
Thanks for posting. Interesting to hear that you're a big fan of KPop, and I have to agree, it's pretty hit and trendy (although these days there are so many idol groups I have trouble keeping track of them all)!
Cheers,
Lyn

Yes Lyn, I'm a huge fan of KPop and the Korean Wave. My biggest interest lies in the dance routines as I find them to be so creative and interesting. I also love the fashion and hairstyles found within Idol music.
Hi Ian,
You must be a KPop fan, you seem to know quite a bit about Korean idol bands! :sunglasses:
