Thanks for posting. 칠면조 is the Korean word for turkey, and 터키 is the ‘borrowed’ word (foreign word) for ‘turkey’.
Hope this answered your question. Please let us know if you have any other inquiries.
Why are there two ways to say turkey? (터키 and 칠면조)
추수감사절 (It is one word so we don’t put a space between 추수 and 감사절) 잘 보내셨어요?
‘연회’ means a ceremony where a feast is held, so you can’t say that you want to eat a ‘연회’–you should say you want to eat the food, so you could write it as ‘연회음식’ or just ‘추수감사절 음식’.
I was raised in the U.S. too so I miss Thanksgiving food—especially the pumpkin pie!
