Thanks for posting, we're sorry to hear that you are having trouble remembering things..is there no Korean community centre in your area where you can find people to speak in Korean with?
My memory is so bad I forget them almost inmediately, I have no one to practice I can repeat all day long and doesn't stick, I write them, say it and read them. ? I use flash cards, I write note all over my house, I watch dramas, videos, etc and Im still at 안녕하세요. ??????
Thank you for sharing your study tips with us! It sounds very effective. :thumbs:
Just one correction: 나준에-->나중에 (although I am sure it was just a typo). :grin:
I copy the vocabulary into my notebook and then make a powerpoint or copy them onto papers so I can reorganize them. 실제로 들을 수 있도록 단어를 큰 소리로 말합니다. 새로운 단어를 발음이 비슷한 모국어 단어와 연관 짓습니다. 이미 알고있는 관련 단어와 새로운 단어를 같이 분류합니다. Then I make my own vocabulary lists with them in the order that I wanted, and flashcard sets in several different apps. I make my own phrases, conjugating them several ways. 어근과 어떻게 다른 단어들이 서로 연관되어 있는지에 대해 알아봅니다. 개별 단업분 아니라 전체 문구를 배 울 수 있다록 새로운 단어를 간단한 문장에 사용하려고 노력합니다. 사고 과정이 자연스러워지도록 한국어로 생각하려고 노력합니다. 나준에, 비록 상대방이 이해하지 못하더라도 가족이나 애완견과 대화를 하며 매일 꾸준히 연습합니다. And when I get tired of that,노래를 듣고 가사를 외웁니다. Sometimes I even make flashcards of the lyrics so I can practice them until I improve my speed. So, I guess 저는 단어 읽기, 쓰기, 말하기를 여러번 반복합니다.
Megan, maybe flashcards around the house would help. Sometimes it is useful to have them where you can see them. Also, flashcard games are good at helping you learn. There are several flashcard apps for android to vary the games you can play. And since music is very effective, it's good to make your own songs. Just start small. You'll get there.
That sounds like a good way to remember new words and expand your vocabulary!
I practice a word or two every day and record then so I'll remember them later.???
I don't remember any Korean words. I can't retain anything. :disappointed::sob:
