This is kind of my first thread here though I've been around for a few months. I just wanted to ask everyone what you favorite words are and why? Hopefully you'll all have a Korean one but if you have one in another language that would be cool too. Also add your least favorite word if you think of one.
예러분 제일 좋아하는 말응 써 주세요. 그리고, 왜 그말은 좋아해요? 제일 싫은 말을 생각 해면 또 써 주세요. 예러분은 한국어 많이 말하기 바란는데 다른나라 말은 또 좋다.
제 제일 좋아하는 말 (My favorite words):
한국어: 동그라미 (meaning circle) "동그라미"는 정말 귀여운 소리 있니까 좋아해요. 언제든지 동그라미를 들어면 제 귀여운 학생들이 생각나게 해요.
I like the word dongrammi because it's cute. When I hear it it reminds me of my cute students.
아일랜드 말 (Irish gaelic): 제가 아일랜드 사람 예요. 아일랜드 말을 잘못 하지만 마음에 드는 말을 있어요. "이쌰카 밧하" 있다. 단어 뜻은 생명의 물 입니다. 사실은 위스키 있다! 재미있다.
I'm from Ireland and though I don't speak Irish very well I have a favorite Irish word. The word is "Uisce beatha". Literally it means water of life or living water, but in fact it's Whiskey. It's fun.
