Yeah, the grammar does seem pretty complicated for a simple postal service notice!

I guess what's important is that the security guard accepted it on your behalf, so you don't have to worry about going down to the post office and navigating the bureaucracy there!

:-) Yeah, and I'm not even sure where my neighborhood post office is!
