Shouldn't that be "녹지 않음으로"? (I know, it is correct but to me it doesn't look correct.)

They all look similar to each other, but

~므로 means "because" or "since"
~ㅁ으로 means "by the means of "

So actually the 녹지 않으므로 in the message is correct.

I had to cheat a little bit with my dictionary....there was some important Konglish in that sign, and I wouldn't have produced an exact translation, but I got the gist

That was a little very confusing... Mainly, it's because one definiton I got for the main verb was "fusion, sometimes by heat." I had to read the definition in my dictionary carefully to understand that it can also mean "dissolve"...

The generally accepted definition of 녹다 is "to melt" but here "dissolve" would be a better fit.

Hmm. I had to check the meaning of "어름", and check the alternative definitions of "버리다", since the main one I know is "throw away." But, I still don't totally understand the second one.

버리다 means (1) to throw away, and (2) to end up being in a state or to end up doing something completely.
