I've created another hanja learning program! You can play it at
http://mannaja.piranho.de/KanjiKaiser.html http://kanjikaiser.awardspace.com
It's based on Heisig's book "Remembering the Kanji", and it's basically for learning Japanese kanjis, but you can also switch to traditional kanjis (=hanjas) by simply pressing key "2". And by pressing "escape" during the program you can see its many other functions.
It works on Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Looks like your website has been removed from the server... I get a 404 error :(

Oh, you're right... I hadn't noticed that piranho accepts only websites in German language. Now you can find the program here:

Thanks for the new link.

I'm just wondering though if the whole hanja list can be useful for learning. I'm still nowhere with hanja, so learning it with the 8 levels would make more sense. Would it be possible to make your quizzes so that one can choose the level? Suggestion:
- only level 8
- only level 7
- all up to level 7
- only level 6
- all up to level 6
- ... and so on

On a related issue, I just found this resource for learning hanja, with some example words as well:
http://ezcorean.com//korean_vocabulary/hanja (where you can see these levels)

Here you are - this special version contains only level 8 and level 7 hanjas (i.e. the 150 easiest hanjas):

Now the standard version of the Hanja Quiz is divided into levels too:

Oh, how annoying - how they have placed their advertisement... All web hosts seem to have conspired against me...
Until this is fixed I recommend simply erasing the source text section from the first "<div" to the last "</div>" after downloading it, then that disrupting advertisement disappears.

I've changed the webserver once again. Now it's finally ad-free:

Now I really appreciate this quiz! At level 8, I know around 80% of the words quizzed and that's a very good motivator. The 20% remaining is then much easier to look up and remember. Thumbs up!

Waaaah?

II didn't understand anything!
月 弟 中 女 白 "In the month of the brotheer therre's a girl"?
頭 國 會 半 弟 "Half brother of the meeting of the head countries"

Are these people's names? Propper nouns? Or just gibberish?

Just consider the single hanjas and the single geuljas. First select a hanja, say 月 and then the matching Korean pronounciation 월. Both of them will turn green. Go ahead with the next one you know. You can also first select the geulja and then the hanja if you wish so. Hope that helps!

NEW-NEW-NEW: I've built in a secret extra function!
Now, if you press "1" on your keyboard after having started the program, you can play the levels one by one (for example just "level 4" instead of "levels 4 to 8").
