Learn Korean with KoreanClass101.com! Today your friend in Korea has a special treat for you. He is taking you out on horseback to see some of the country up close! You have absolutely no idea what to expect, but you could not be more excited either!! Your friend hands you a saddle and explains in Korean, “Saddle up, your horse is running there in that field.” Confused, you just stare at him. He laughs and points into the field and repeats the command in English, rolling his eyes at you. Embarrassed, you saddle up and head out as soon as the sun peeks up over the horizon. Within minutes, your friend quietly exclaims in Korean, “Be really still! Look, across that field…the deer are running and jumping…and the wolves over there are looking for food!” You strain your eyes trying to make out the images in the silvery sunlight, as if you knew what you were looking for. Again, he looks at you rolling his eyes and repeats what he said in English. Only this time, he adds, “I thought you said you learned Korean before you came here!” You snap back in Korean, “How was I supposed to know I was going to need to talk about animals in Korean?” Rolling his eyes once more and laughing, he replies in language, “This IS a vacation…isn’t it??”

이번 강의도 잘 들으셨나요??
Q. “What is a horse doing?”

Could you please expand the vocabulary in the PDF to translate the actions as well. They go by so fast in the video that I cannot begin to get them.
Also, could you expand the explanations of the sentences? A bit of deconstruction?
Then if you would, you please go back and repost the PDFs for all the Video tales with expanded vocab. That would be great.
(Also, you currently have an error in your translation of the horse scene)
Thanks
Don

The first sentence in the pdf isn’t translated—it’s transliterated instead. Please translate.

Hello! Don

I totally understand you. There are not many vocabs in the PDF.
Here are some vocabs of verb for this lesson.
Run: 뛰다 / play: 놀다 / forage : 찾아다니다. / spar : 겨루다.
About a horse… The horse is running in the field.
->말이 들판에서 뛰고 있다.
could you please tell us an error?
I found “the romanization” in the 사슴 part so I swaped it.
That’s our mistake. hehe
Thank you for letting us it.

That’s the idea - putting in the verbs is great. Thanks. What about the actions mentioned in the video? I will never get them if you don’t write them into the PDF and translate them. They go by so fast in the video, I just have no chance.
I’m wondering why you don’t update the PDFs for this series? If you did it would be very helpful. I am hoping you will.
Or perhaps this is meant to be for intermediate learners?
(The error was what Guden said: not translating the horse sentence.
Thanks!
Don

Phrase verb might be difficult for you.
This time, let’s get used to those sounds in Korean.
And then next time when we upload it, I believe you will take those word easily. *^^*
Here is one action sentence.
running, jumping, running away : 뛰고, 점프하고, 도망가고
