Learn Korean with KoreanClass101.com! What is all that racket coming from the apartment next to yours in Korea? It sounds as if someone is banging on drums and smacking cymbals together. You go to your neighbor’s door and knock, but there’s no answer. You knock again and yell in Korean, “Can anyone hear me?” Still, there’s no response. You go back to your apartment and call your neighbor on the phone. This time, your neighbor answers and says in Korean, “Hang on…I can’t hear you.” When the racket quiets, you tell your neighbor in Korean, “You’re making so much noise I can’t hear myself think, much less study.” Your neighbor responds in Korean, “Sorry, I’m not good at judging how loud my band is. We’ll try to keep it down.” You thank your neighbor and make a mental note to pick up some earplugs the next time you’re at the store.

Learning Korean with KoreanClass101.com is the most fun and effective way to learn Korean! I’m so happy for you. I’ll help your sentence to be more natural.*^^*
저는 슬울(x)/술을(o) 못 마시는데요.
Can you explain “젊” for me?
젊다 –> to be young. / 어리다 –> to be young.

 You are probably saying “저는 너무 어려서 술을 못 마셔요.” which means you are underage. Am I right??

Hello N2K님

Korean will be surprised even though you speak only”안녕하세요!”
Don’t worry~! Are you going to Korea?

“Seaweed paper” means “김” ?? which is dried seaweed seasoned by salt and sesame oil.
or “미역” ?

New2Korean says:

I think.

I am not very good at Korean yet.

It is delicious. Japanese people eat it, too, but it is not as salty.

I don’t know if I’m going to Korea yet. I used to have some Korean friends. But they don’t email me back.

Maybe it is because my computer is a mac? :???:

True story: she was planning on marrying a mechanical engineer

Thank you for your speedy response. You are a very helpful teacher.

In korea, if you are going to get married, you should prepare so many things.

KoreanClass101.com says:

khairshapiee님 안녕하세요~~

Your sentence is kind of funny. you are saying “I can’t drive well” and ” Teach me Korean!”
Isn’t it funny??

저도 운전 잘 못해요!
한국에서 운전하려면 “끼어들기”만 잘하면 된다는 말이 있어요.

Andy says:

What’s the difference in 한국말 vs. 한국어?

avatar
Colin says:

Typo in lesson notes: 공부잫못해요

avatar
Colin says:

Andy - it’s the same thing. 말 usually denotes more of something like ‘language’ or ‘language type’. 어 is like…doing the language. i think? anyway.. they are used interchangably.
