Learn Korean with KoreanClass101.com! Ah, you have the itch to travel for a vacation away from Korea. You plead with your significant other and explain that while you love Korea, you need to get away to someplace new, at least for a few days. You suggest in Korean, “Let’s take a vacation to an island where it’s warm and sunny.” Your significant other responds in Korean, “But we already have some travel plans to look forward to - we’re visiting my parents in a month.” Is that his idea of a vacation - going to another place in Korea to stay with his parents? Your skin starts to crawl, and you assert in Korean, “Well, that sounds like too much stress for it to truly be a vacation. Since I won’t be able to relax at all while we’re there, we’ll have to go away for a while to a fancy island resort to make up for it.” With that, you stomp off, but you hear a loud sigh from the other room. For good measure, you add in Korean, “I want my fruity umbrella drinks!” You’re sure you’ll get your way…or else!
