Learn Korean with KoreanClass101.com! You’ve been working on your fitness at the Korean gym, but you’re tired of limiting yourself to the treadmill. Day in and day out you go to the gym and pound out your miles while watching the Korean television, but the monotony is starting to get to you. You ask your friend in Korean for some workout suggestions, and he responds in Korean, “Why don’t we go hiking instead of going to the gym tomorrow?” You tell your friend in Korean, “That’s a great idea, but I’ve never been hiking in Korea. Where can we go?” Your friend starts to list off some Korean mountains, and you politely listen to his barrage of Korean ideas until finally you’ve had enough! You tell your friend in Korean, “Those places all sound great, but they’re lost on me because I don’t know where they are! Let’s go to the one that’s closest. Where’s that first one you mentioned?”
Learning Korean with KoreanClass101.com is the most fun and effective way to learn Korean! Yes, I know where Korea is. My husband worked at Camp Red Cloud. 지금
하와이에 살아요. I’m not exactly sure when to hit the space bar when typing Korean. Should there be a space between Hawaii and the marker? Is it typed correctly? Thank you.
Friday at 3:41 pm
I remember that you live in Hawaii.
You’re right!!
지금 하와이에 살아요.
(Reading books will help you I believe.)

안녕하세요.
Can i know how is the arrangement of a sentences?
I mean, which comes up first? Is it subject or verb first, then what’s next?
I need to know that.
Wednesday at 1:28 pm
How do you say “Where is John?”
Wednesday at 5:13 pm
“Where is John” is
The subject - “John” 존 + 은(subject particle) = 존은
Wh question - “where” 어디 + 에 “in/at/on” = 어디에
Be-verb - “is” 있다. But since it is a question, it becomes 있어요? / 있어?
Therefore, “where is John” is
존은 어디에 있어요? / 존은 어디에 있어?
(jon-eun eo-di-e it-seo-yo? / jon-eun eo-di-e it-seo?)
cheers,
Tim

i am yearning to learn the korean language and my big motivation is:
1) i enjoy listening to the phonetic pronunciation of the Korean language.
2) i am a Kpop and Kdrama fanatic…so i need to learn it without waiting for english subs.
3) my curiosity towards learning the language be it hangeul or romanization drives me wild.
4) so i can befriend some korean nationals.
5) so i can be prepared in communicating when time comes that i will visit korea.
6) and a lot more….
the problem is, i am economic instable so i can only rely to free lessons but being in this state will not hinder me from learning it….
i really appreciate my limited access to your site…though i cannot have the proper and basics for a beginner,im fortunate enough to read some arguments and explanations posted in your site….
A big thanks to all.

“ne-maj-a-yo”eun museun uimiyeyo ?
Wednesday at 9:36 am
네 맞아요. (Ne Majayo) means ‘Yes, right’.
I believe that you’ve heard it a lot from our lessons too.
네(ne) means ‘Yes’, and the verb 맞다(matda) means ‘to be right’.
맞아요(majayo) is the verb with the particle ‘-아요’ / 맞(mat)+아요(ayo)
Thank you : )
