Learn Korean with KoreanClass101.com! You are visiting your friend in Korea, and he has decided to take you on a tour of his favorite Korean places. First up on his list is…a haunted house? He says, “I really like going to this place. It’s supposedly haunted by Korean soldiers. It’s a little difficult to find, but it’s worth the trip.” You respond in Korean, “What do you mean haunted? Have you seen any ghosts?” He replies in Korean, “No, of course not. It’s just a legend. It’s difficult to scare me anyway. Why, are you scared of ghosts?” Shuddering, you say in Korean, “Let’s just say I don’t put myself in situations where I have to face poltergeists.” He replies in Korean, “You’re just being silly. You’ve seen too many horror movies. We could always skip the haunted house and go to the next place on my list. It’s easy to get to.” “What’s that?” you ask in Korean. He proudly tells you in Korean, “We’ll go visit a Korean cave.” He’s gotta be kidding, right?

무서으면 무서을수록 너를 이 어두워운 동굴에 따라가고 싶어. 난 손전등을 없는데도 너의 손을 잡으면 거기에서 몇 시간 동안 산책할 수도 있어.
[The scarier it is the more I want to follow you in this dark cave. Even though I don’t have a flashlight, if I hold your hand, I could walk several hours in there with you.]
